HOW TO JOIN ABE / REGISTRATION

How do I register?

What qualifications do I need to join ABE, and how do I find out which level to register?

Certificate Level

No formal entry qualifications are required but proof of competence in the English language is a requirement.

Diploma Level

The ABE Certificate or two "A" Levels or equivalent qualification or two years' relevant work experience supported by an employer's reference.

Advanced Diploma

The ABE Diploma, recognised honours degree or equivalent qualification.

Am I eligible for any Exemptions from the ABE Examinations?

If you hold a qualification from either another professional body or University which is very similar in content and level to the ABE qualification you could qualify for an exemption from some of the ABE Diploma examination. (There are no exemptions from the Certificate or Advanced Diploma levels.) Please forward a copy of your qualification to the ABE Registrar who will be able to advise you further.
If you are granted an exemption, you will be asked to pay an exemption fee of £25 (25 UKP) for each subject.

I have submitted my registration form but why have I not received anything from you?

Please email ABE with your full name, your mailing address, and date of birth. We will reply to you as soon as possible to let you know the progress of your application.
